Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 2026
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using AudioExtractly. By accessing or using the website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Permitted Use and User Responsibility
AudioExtractly provides client-side media extraction capabilities. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights, licenses, or permissions to inspect, modify, and extract streams from any media files you process using this service. You agree not to use this utility to infringe on the copyrights or intellectual property rights of any third party.
2. No Media Ownership Claimed
AudioExtractly does not claim any ownership, copyright, or licensing rights over the media files you process. Because all operations occur locally on your device, we never possess, copy, or store your content.
3. Local Device Resource Usage
Processing media streams in the browser uses your device CPU and RAM. Processing very large or complex video files may cause high system resource utilization or browser tab lag. AudioExtractly provides safeguards against excessive file sizes, but users are responsible for managing their own system resources.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
AudioExtractly is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive to support common containers and codecs accurately, we do not warrant that all media files, unusual codecs, or damaged streams will be successfully parsed or extracted.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall AudioExtractly, its developers, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this utility, including loss of data, browser crashes, or hardware resource exhaustion.
6. Open Source and Third-Party Notices
This software incorporates FFmpeg and other open-source libraries licensed under the LGPL and GPL licenses. Applicable source code and licensing notices are available in accordance with open-source license obligations.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time by updating this page. Continued use of AudioExtractly constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
